Ginna Carter Print Email

Ginna Carter is an actor and playwright. She’s worked in theater in Los Angeles and been nominated for two LADCC awards. Her play Traffic School won the Source Theater’s National One-Act playwriting competition in 2003. Ginna has developed and performed in her full-length play Dorothy at the Hartford Stage BRAND new play festival; The Alley Theatre in Houston; The Roundabout Theatre’s Black Box in New York; Palm Beach Dramaworks in Florida; Pacific Resident Theatre, L.A.; and other Los Angeles theaters. The resource book Theater Festivals: Best Worldwide Venues for New Works notes Dorothy as one of the two best productions in the eight years of the L.A. theater festival Edgefest. Ginna studied acting at RADA in London and studied writing in the Master of Professional Writing program at USC, graduating in 2007.
